The Gunslinger is an unlockable melee weapon for the Engineer. It is a robotic hand, comprising segmented finger parts, wires, team-colored casing & a pressure gauge that replaces the Engineer's right hand. This weapon adds 25 max health to the engineer, making him a considerably more offensive class. Also, when three hits on a enemy (without letting go of attack button) in a row, the third will be a guaranteed critical hit. This allows 3 hits to kill any non-Overhealed class. As a downside, there are no random critical hits. When this is equipped, the regular Sentry Gun is replaced with a Mini-sentry that fires 2 times as fast as a regular sentry but has a 50% damage penalty. Also, it takes only 2.5 seconds to build and cannot be upgraded, but it may be repaired or resupplied with ammo. Another feature this has is that it only costs 100 metal to build, so 2 can be build per life without restocking metal. sadly with these the teleporters cost 50 metal


C.T.F (Capture The Flag)

Some people would suggest battle Engineers (gunslinger) for C.T.F, specifically because the sentry is such a big target in a small space. Also, it is easier for classes such as Heavy to destroy them, since the maps are usually very small. The Mini-Sentry, however, is easier to hide & snipe harder enemies (even with the Wrangler) without getting a level 3 Sentry destroyed. However, there are some things that the level 3 can do that the mini can't, such as insta-Crit on lower-health characters, such as the Scout.
