Play Style[]
The Backburner encourages the player to flank and ambush their prey. With the increase in Airblast cost you can't reflect as many incoming projectiles so you need to be sneaky and use alternate routes always. The Backburner combines greatly with the Detonator or Scorch Shot so you can use blast jumps to get behind the enemy lines or even flat-out jump over someone's head and get them in the back. You play it like a Spy(ro), think before each move.

Mann vs. Machine
The backburner can be very good to destroy the machines especially since so many are in one place. However the only problem is getting behind all of them.
